SBE Meeting at WLS -- MAY 20, 1993

At the SBE meeting on 12/16/09 attempts were made to identify people in a photo from an SBE meeting at the WLS XMTR taken on May 20, 1993.
Here is how the SBE Signal Loop reported on the meeting:
"The WLS-AM transmitter site hosted the May meeting of SBE Chapter 26. Chief Engineer Warren Shulz welcomed the members at 7:15pm and turned the microphone over to Chapter Chair Mike McCarthy. McCarthy introduced the newly elected chapter officers and encouraged everyone to attend the Wisconsin Broadcaster's Summer Engineering Seminar during July.
"The meeting's format included a series of presentations by a panel of experts in the emergency communications field, representing federal, state, and other authorities.
"The experts told how they are prepared to maintain communications if an enemy tries to blow us away. Meanwhile, some of the people as the meeting were blown away by their own emotional experiences of being in the building that transmitted the WLS Barn Dance, the Silver Dollar Survey, and other memories from the 1040s-60s.
"Twenty-one SBE members (fourteen certified members) and seventeen guests attended the May meeting, which adjourned at 9:15pm. WLS provided the pizza and meeting space."
Of the 38 people reported at the meeting, there are 36 identifiable faces in the photo. That leaves one face to obscure to identify (between 27 & 28) and whomever took the photo.
